32-A. The Staggers House
This house was built in 1921 from a Sears & Roebuck house kit, delivered to Beverly by rail.
Harley Staggers, a Congressman from West Virginia, had this house built for his parents.

It is a two-story, side gable bungalow style house with a large
central shed roof dormer on the front. The house has clapboard siding and 6/6 windows. A
large, two-story gable addition in the rear has German siding and 1/1 windows. The
one-story, shed roof front porch has paired columns.
